TipTop turn Bizarre....

One of the latest workshops to take place at the TipTop Photography studios was something a little different for us. We have had numerous requests to hold a workshop that featured models who had a more 'alternative' kinda look.

So...who better than to have in the studio than Beth, aka Fey Tish (promoter of Red Rocks Burlesque), Felicia Noir, Burlesque performer and model Sophie aka Princess Sophie.

Beth became a nurse with a difference, a white PVC nurses uniform, hat and props turned her into a Bizarre magazine kind of nurse. She played the character to perfection, as you can see from the image she looks stunning. This image has been sent off for publication.

For Sophie, we wanted the photographers who attended the workshop to be able to focus on body lines and the artist side of the shoot - Sophie posed for artistic nude and was covered in chocolate sauce and cream. As tasty as it may sound for Sophie, I am sure when she left the shoot, she really didn't want to go and eat a cream cake or chocolate bar.... she was certainly a sticky mess but as always delivered some exceptionally high results.

All of the photographers commented on how fantastic the three models were.... when setting up a workshop, we take a lot of care in sourcing the perfect model for the shoot. A photographer attending the workshop expects a high standard shoot, and this is something that we always deliver.

Attention to detail is one of the most important things to us - getting it right first time is a must.

Good afternoon blog readers...its the last weekend in May, I cant believe we are almost in June.

We have done so much photographing in the last few weeks its hard to know where to start.. We have worked with dancers, fitness models, alternative models, worked on weddings, birthday parties, portfolios, band publicity shoots, worked with the Ministry of Burlesque..... its been hard work but fun at the same time too.

Well.....off to do some more editing...watch out for more tiptop workshops, events etc coming soon.

TipTop & Heresy n Heelz

We are pleased to announce that we will be providing a Studio Installation at Heresy n Heelz, a fusion of decadent dance, alternative culture and cutting edge burlesque !http://www.heresynheelz.co.uk/

As part of the new venture, Tip Top Photography will provide a photo studio installation at the events from July 2010 onwards, so that guests will be able to have their pictures taken in the wonderful outfits that have become an H n H trademark, or even pictures taken with the show's stars, and have a lovely photographic memento to keep.

The event currently attracts between 200-300 people so there will be lots of amazing outfits to photograph.

We will also be offering a FREE Model Portfolio Shoot to the lucky winner of the "Best Dressed Competition" at each event as part of the £500 in prizes on offer to the 3 winners.

TipTop on Tour!

TipTop have been out and about enjoying a little time away from the studio.

There is nothing more satisfying than packing up the camera bags and setting off for an adventure only some people dream of....

Charity Burlesque Show..... TipTop gets involved

We are really pleased to be involved in a huge charity event on the 10th July 2010 at The Public, West Bromwich, West Midlands.

A burlesque night with a different comes to town, showcasing some of the most well known names in the burlesque world including Red Sarah, Millie Dollar, Mister Joe Black, The Decadent Gent to name but a few.

TipTop Photography will be providing the photography services for the evening and also supporting in the way of stage managing and also donating prizes for the grand charity auction.

This is certainly a night not to be missed.

The illness continues

A quick update.... Steve is still out of action, his new 7d is not being used due to his illness....hopefully the TipTop Team will be back in action next week.

Illness hits TipTop

Steve has spent the last 48hrs in bed with a bad skin infection in his right leg! Deb has been looking after him which has meant the business has had to take a back seat this bank holiday weekend.

Luckily not too much has been affected and the TipTop team will be back fighting ready for the 2nd night's shoot with Katie Green on Wednesday
