What a busy week its been. I cant believe its Friday already.
The studio has been buzzing all week with new models, photographers hiring the studio, the first Photoshop Course lesson and much more.
Steve held a very successful first Photoshop lesson on Tuesday - feedback from participants has been great, Steve came back from the evening buzzing with excitement looking forward and planning for the following week.
There is lots of planning going on at the moment in preparation for the opening of the adjoining studio.
There will be 3 fixed sets; a boudoir set, perfect for both glamour and vintage; a lounge area, kitchen/diner plus an interchangeable colour area.
We will have a prop database for photographers/models to view and use when hiring the studio - we are always on the hunt for a bargain - in fact last Sunday we purchased a 2ND PEACOCK CHAIR!! Its a standing joke between Steve and I that someone once said peacock chairs and white backgrounds were old school.....if it is old school its still looking good!!
We have a whole weekend in the studio (its a good job we have a fantastic house & dog sitter!!) we have two Burlesque workshops tomorrow featuring the amazing and talented Leigh Mon Meringue, Lola Pops, Suzie Sequin & Pixie Parasol.
Sunday we meet for the 2ND club meeting - we have arranged for 2 models to attend so the group will have the first club shoot!
Phew...on Monday it starts all over again!

A blast from the past - Thru the decades workshop
On Saturday we had another fantastic day at the studio - we held a photography workshop where 3 togs had the opportunity to photograph 4 models.Duane wore clothes from the 60's
Penny strutted her stuff in fashion from the 70's - a very hippy chic
Emma-Louise was a glam 80's girl
Rob was mean and moody with his current day look
The togs, Simon, Darren & Simon had a great time working with the models and sharing ideas with eachother.
Viewing some of the images on the laptops they looked as though they had really captured the day well.
Inbetween listening to the themed music from each decade, munching on the goodies and drinking coffee.....everyone got some great shots.
