Well its happened.... the first models have gone live on Studio-PA.
So what are you waiting for... go check out the website.
Studio PA is a place where you can book a photo shoot, model and studio(including lighting set up & lighting technician) without any hassle.
Studio PA is here to help photographers and models find eachother to hopefully create some amazing images.
Studio PA is a service designed to help you plan a photoshoot with ease.
As a Personal Assistant, we will do everything for you from initial contact to finalising the details for your shoot. You simply select the model you would like to work with, contact us with some suggested times/dates and we will do the rest.
We will contact the model, arrange the shoot, provide the studio (including full lighting set up) all for one fee paid directly to TipTop Photography.
There is no requirement for you to pay the models directly as this will be included in our service.
We have agreements in place with all models to ensure you have a great shoot with a reliable, professional model - something I am sure we all look for when arranging a shoot.
After many years of arranging shoots we understand how difficult it can sometimes be to find an exciting reliable model.

Black Country Burlesque @ The Public

Better late than never...our thoughts on the Black Country Burlesque show...@ The Public
Black Country Burlesque, sponsored by TipTop Photography held another evening of glamour, glitz and comedy at The Public, West Bromwich on Saturday 7th November 2009.
Burlesque has a reputation of being a risqué, cheeky and controversial – just like the building that hosted the Black Country Burlesque show on last Saturday.

Burlesque is all about ‘real’ women who feel good about themselves and who enjoy gracing a stage to delight audience members with comedy, a teasing performance always leaving the audience wanting more.
It’s not just stripping to music despite what some people may think.
Women of all shapes and sizes from all different walks of life enjoy burlesque and by means of shows such as the Black Country Burlesque, should encourage more women to get on stage and perform.

Was the show full of women taking their clothes off? Yes it was, but there is one thing for certain, they will made us smile, make us laugh and they will left us all wanting more!
The performers were:
Al Rudge , Cherie Champagne, Cherie Firebrand, Delilah Defoe, Felicia Noir, Gigi Golightly, Kevin Roy, Luli Blue, Miss Ditzy Diamond, Miss May Hemm, Peski DeVille (third picture), Pipi Strella, Satine De Monte (top picture), Twinkel Pink (second picture) and compare for the evening The Decadent Gent.

Exhibition Time....
Today we have been working at 'The Public' http://www.thepublic.com/ preparing for the exhibition we are taking part in.
Its all exciting stuff... we have 10 large framed images of burlesque beauties in the front gallery, opposite the main reception/hall way so perfect for everyone to stop and look at the images.
Here is a quick shot I took earlier on today just after all the
hung.
We are exhibiting with two other photographers who each have 5 images on display, Robin Lowe, who organises the Black Country Burlesque shows and Evan Smith.
The official launch of the exhibition is Wednesday evening @ 18:30pm and will run for 3 weeks in the public gallery.

Studio PA
Steve and I have been busy working away on a new division of our business called Studio PA.
In the next few days, the website will be launched www.studio-pa.co.uk.
Here you will be able to view the models currently available for assignments, the type of modelling work they undertake plus much more including a short summary of the models experience etc.
Studio PA is here to help photographers and models come together.
As in a Personal Assistant, we will do everything for you from initial contact to finalising the details for your shoot.

After many years arranging our own shoots and having excuses, no shows and unreliable models and then the hassle of arranging a studio only to have cancellation fees to pay when the model pulls out at the last minute, we decided Studio PA was the way forward.

Its a glamorous job...

Yesterday we held a glamour shoot at our studio, opening up the new studio for the first time.
We had 4 models throughout the day - all of our models were being paid not just TFP like some shoots so the togs were guaranteed to get some stunning images.
The day started around 10am and ended around 3:30pm - access to 4 models, all studio equipment, lighting, backgrounds and sets available to use; refreshments, good fun....how else would you want to spend a Saturday ;-)

We have studio days booked into our diary until March 2010 - if you are interested in attending or would like to suggest a theme...please get in touch.

Our customers, photo-shoots, the TipTop Club and planning has kept us so busy over the last few weeks that I've not had chance to update our blog.
Its been a crazy few weeks - lots of orders, lots of dates in the diary plus we got to have a night out at the Black Country Burlesque show and the East v West Burlesque show....check our website for images coming soon.
We have studio days/workshops planned until the end of March 2010 - of course on the workshops...we don't 'teach you', its all about us providing you, the photographer with 4 models, fantastic studio locations and sharing our experiences with you as well as all the other togs who are there sharing their knowledge and tricks of the trade.
I still cant believe how quickly they sell out...they are always great days!
The TipTop Photography Club is going from strength to strength. We have met as a group quite a few times now - there are 18 of us with more people asking every day if they can join in the fun. The club is completely free. We do everything from group shoots in the studio, on location and also inter club competitions.
OK....off to do some more planning....now..where is that glass of wine :-)

Photography - monkey business
On Sunday a few of the TipTop Photography Club travelled north to Monkey Forest in Trentham, Staffordshire.
Monkey forest is 60 acres of beautiful woodland and meadows where 140 monkeys live in total freedom - home to Barbary Macaques its the most amazing place.
The weather was good - we were all there bright and early and what an amazing day we had. Camera's ready, batteries fully charged and memory cards packed.....oh Keigo forgot his bag but never mind we improvised with a strap instead!
Because the Barbary Macaques roam free you are able to sit down on a bench, shoot away and let them carry on around you. The animals behave exactly as they would in the wild...lots of noise, arguing and lots of playing.
Here are a couple of images from the day.
