Prom time again

TipTop Photography had the pleasure of being asked to cover a 'pre' prom party last week, which saw us enjoying the sunshine in the company of some very smartly dressed individuals

Arriving at the home of one of the prom goers we were directed through to a fabulous garden where we took some great images of 5 ladies and 10 lads. After some couple shots, individual and group posing - the Limo arrived and whisked them off to celebrate the end of their school days!

TipTop Photography Club goes Public!!

The TipTop Photography club meets twice a month - we have in excess of 25 members with all different likes, experience and ideas.

Today we all embarked on The Public, West Bromwich http://www.thepublic.com/ for our monthly Sunday meet.

We arrived at 10am and headed straight for the coffee bar to wait for everyone to arrive. We were joined by two models from Purestorm, Abbi & Danni who would be working with us during the shoot.

It was lovely to see everyone, especially Tracey & Claire, the latest TipTop Club members..... we all headed up to Floor 3 for the shoot to begin.

I think its safe to say that everyone had a great time and from the sneaky peaks we had on the back of the cameras, there were some stunning images being taken.

After 3 hours of shooting time, we headed back to the coffee bar for a cold beer and said our goodbyes.... until our next meeting!

Wedding talk....

When we first moved into the world of event photography, we both said we would never take on weddings, too much stress we both said.....here we are 3 years later taking bookings for weddings faster than you can say the words white wedding!

We pride ourselves on capturing the bride and grooms most special moments whilst also providing them with a fantastic array of images showing their guests having an amazing time helping to celebrate their special day.

TipTop turn Bizarre....

One of the latest workshops to take place at the TipTop Photography studios was something a little different for us. We have had numerous requests to hold a workshop that featured models who had a more 'alternative' kinda look.

So...who better than to have in the studio than Beth, aka Fey Tish (promoter of Red Rocks Burlesque), Felicia Noir, Burlesque performer and model Sophie aka Princess Sophie.

Beth became a nurse with a difference, a white PVC nurses uniform, hat and props turned her into a Bizarre magazine kind of nurse. She played the character to perfection, as you can see from the image she looks stunning. This image has been sent off for publication.

For Sophie, we wanted the photographers who attended the workshop to be able to focus on body lines and the artist side of the shoot - Sophie posed for artistic nude and was covered in chocolate sauce and cream. As tasty as it may sound for Sophie, I am sure when she left the shoot, she really didn't want to go and eat a cream cake or chocolate bar.... she was certainly a sticky mess but as always delivered some exceptionally high results.

All of the photographers commented on how fantastic the three models were.... when setting up a workshop, we take a lot of care in sourcing the perfect model for the shoot. A photographer attending the workshop expects a high standard shoot, and this is something that we always deliver.

Attention to detail is one of the most important things to us - getting it right first time is a must.

That's why we have so many repeat customers coming back to us for more and more workshops.
