Off to Red Rocks...

Its that time of the month where TipTop Photography photograph one of the best, if not the best Burlesque shows around.

Red Rocks is Birmingham’s only all red headed burlesque night. Its always an amazing night.... Fey Tish's events are renowned for being crazy, mad and hugely entertaining.

This evening there will be burlesque performances from:

Candee Handful, Crimson Skye, Delilah Dufoe, Ginger La Rouge, Roxy Twirls and Tempest Devyne.

The evening is compared by none other that 'El Kapitan' who usually has a few suprises up his sleeve.

Red Rocks takes place at Island Bar, Birmingham and people can pay on the door if you are reading this last minute.....its well worth the trip into the city centre!

Day off? Not us

Today we have been in the studio with competition winner Heather and her partner. Heather arrived all excited about the shoot, lots of outfits and enough shoes/boots to stock a shop.

The first outfit that they put on was awesome....full masked ball attire. They both looked stunning. Heather went on to then wear a variety of corsets, bloomers, full skirts and lots of different pairs of boots.

Steve will start to work on editing the images in the next couple of days....no doubt we will post one on here.

Sunny Saturday

After a rather unexpected photo shoot this morning, this evening I have been able to sit down and look at some of the images taken today.

This morning, the studio was hired out to a photographer and his model - Rob, the photographer was exceptionally kind and let me have a few minutes shooting his model... the lovely Felicia Noir. Watch out for some images.

This evening, I've had full access to the PC - Steve is off playing with his band somewhere in Worcestershire...I'm meant to be editing but actually have spent the evening looking through old images - pulling a few to one side to work on at some point in the future.

I am also finalising the details for the next TipTop Photography workshop - August 2009. Dates will be published soon.

Tomorrow we are back in the studio - with a prize winner from a competition that we sponsored a while ago - it should be fun.

HomeServe Summer Ball 2009

TipTop Photography were sucessful in securing the contact to photograph the HomeServe summer ball 2009 - the Head Office in Walsall which employs over 2000 staff enjoyed a night out in Bambu, Birmingham.

The theme for the evening was 'bohemian', there were budda's, traditional Indian dancers, head massagers, a fantastic menu, lots of dancing and fun had by all.

We asked trusted photographer Michael Forrest to join us for the evening to ensure we caputured a wide range of images - from candid to staged in the portable studio area we set up.

Another day another dollar so to speak...

Well another day has passed and we have had more enquiries about hiring the studio - all good!

Steve is currently working on the technical handbook for our studio sessions and I have been looking into a new workshop we are planning. We will soon be able to publish our calender of events - this will include the different themes of workshops we have planned along with the 1-2-1 sessions and beginners guide to studio work.

I think thats all for today - another great productive day had by all at The Loft.... until tomorrow!
